Who we are
ProudLegal is the legal and business services practice of Proud Technologies Pvt. Ltd., based in Mohali, Punjab. ProudLegal International is its practice for clients outside India: NRIs, OCI cardholders, persons of Indian origin, foreign companies and foreign investors. We serve clients in about 40 countries by video call, with documents signed where the client lives and filed in India.
Our work covers property, inheritance, family matters, business set-up and compliance, disputes and enforcement and tax and FEMA.

Founder, ProudLegal. LLB, MCA. More than twenty years in litigation, fundraising and pre-IPO advisory, and technology law.
Our founder
ProudLegal is led by Advocate Naresh Kalra, who holds an LLB and an MCA and has more than 20 years of experience. His work spans litigation, fundraising and pre-IPO advisory, equity structuring and technology law. He has consulted with the Enforcement Directorate on the PMLA court e-filing module, work that drew on both his legal practice and his background in computer applications.
Our team
Cross-border matters rarely stay within one profession. Selling inherited property involves succession documents, a sale deed, capital gains tax and repatriation. Setting up a subsidiary involves company law, FEMA reporting, tax and employment contracts. Our team includes:
- Advocates for litigation, criminal defence, family matters, property and contracts.
- Company secretaries for incorporation, ROC filings and corporate records.
- Chartered accountants for tax returns, certificates such as Form 15CB, valuations and audits.
- Tax practitioners for GST and routine tax compliance.
Legal advice and court appearances are given by advocates, and each professional works within the rules of their own profession.

- Regular updates. You hear from us after every hearing, filing or significant step, with copies of what was filed.
- Verified instructions. We act on instructions from you, and confirm bank details and significant decisions in writing, which matters when you are far away.
